Here’s a little piece of Trash Video history – Cleopatra Wong herself, Singaporean actress Marrie Lee, flew herself to the Brisbane International Film Festival 2006 where I played host to Cleo for a week. She printed up several hundred of these repro posters and signed them for every person who attended the two screenings…and I ended up with the small handful of leftovers! A few months later I flew to Singapore and Manila, filmed Marrie and Cleo Wong director Bobby A. Suarez for my Search For Weng Weng doco, and the rest, as they say…
